Could you be a Museum Volunteer?
As a volunteer you could:
- Improve the quality of our records and the use of our collections through ongoing cataloguing, research and improved storage of collection material.
- Help make our objects and records accessible to a wider audience.
- Gain valuable hands-on experience and skills throughout a variety of Museum roles.
We are extremely grateful to our volunteers whose time and effort have brought so much to the Museum and its visitors.
How do I become a Museum Volunteer?
The Volunteer Programme is open to anyone aged 18 and over – all you need is enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in. A military or museum background is by no means essential.
New roles will be advertised via the museum website on a periodic basis. If you would like to be alerted when new volunteering opportunities become available please contact the Assistant Curator to be added to the mailing list.
